Biography

PhD, MMM, DBM, B.Com, EPGDHRM from TISS -
He is presently working as visiting faculty at NMIMS University for the School of Family Business & Entrepreneurship Mgmt. He has also worked as Associate Professor in Regenesys Business School, India and GuruNanak Institute of Management Studies.He hasover 8 years of industry experience and over 5 years of teaching experience. Dr Amarpreet Singh is also the Co-founder of Indian Drivers database Incorporation (social venture) having its portal as www.drivers420.com, which is India’s 1st portal where in all players in transport sector, such as transporters, bus operators, taxi companies etc. can upload the details of the drivers who have been indulged in criminal activities and frauds like theft of trucks, theft of goods loaded in trucks etc.The portal was inaugurated by Shri Gautam Chatterjee (IAS) Add Chief Secretory- Transport and Ports on the occasion of 60th year celebration of Federation of Bombay Motor Transport Operators on 19th November 2015 at CIDCO exhibition centre.
Dr Amarpreet Singh Ghura has been awarded the certificate of appreciation by Federation of Bombay Motor Transport Operators, for the social initiative, the same was given by Shri Gautam Chatterjee (IAS) Add Chief Secretory- Transport and Ports.
He has done his Masters in Marketing Management from GuruNanak Institute of Management Studies and has finished his PhD on CRM Management.Dr.Amarpreet Singh Ghura has authored3 books, one on Management Information System and 1 on Customer relationship Management and has received the forward letter for his 2nd book “CRM a theory & practice to manage & retain customers” from the then Hon’ble Shri Hassan Mushrif, Labour Minister of Maharashtra.The Launch of his 2nd book “CRM a theory & practice to manage & retain customers” was done by the Hon’ble Labour Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Hassan Mushrif at his residence on 2nd October 2013 and the same was Press covered by MidDay Newspaper, dated 7th October 2013, pp 10. Dr Ghura was also selected for a poster presentation at 3rd Biennial conference of Indian Academy of Management, held at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad 12th - 14th December 2013.Dr Ghura has to his credit over 9 articles, case study and research papers for national and international conferences, journals and for business magazine such as Corporate India and his case study on Godrej Consumer Product Ltd was published by Economic Times on 1st December 2015.Dr Amarpreet has also organized Management Development Program, the recent one on Blue Ocean Strategy and has also conducted a workshop for the employees of Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd. (A Government of India undertaking).Dr Amarpreet is also a consultant for Jivo Wellness Pvt Ltd (Jivo Canola Oil), for their expansion plan in South of India and Maharashtra and also for Bal Road lines Pvt Ltd for their diversification plan. Dr Amarpreet Singh’steaching area is Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management.
